Personal

I am a lifetime resident of Lexington.  I graduated from the University of Kentucky where I was a varsity cheerleader for the National Champion UK Cheerleaders.  My wife, Bobbi Jean, was a cheerleader at UK and that is how we met.  Bobbi is the owner and operator of Walnut Hill Day School.  Our son, Christian, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.  He is currently stationed at the Los Angeles Air Force Base.  Our daughter, Taylor, is a senior at the University of Kentucky where she is studying to be a Forensic Psychologist.

I am a member of Southland Christian Church and am involved with IronMen.

When not working, I enjoy long distant running, working around our farm, muscle car shows and motorcycle riding.

I've seen first hand how proper financial planning comes full circle.  My dad, Talbott, was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) a year and a half ago.  I've seen a former three sport, All-American high school athlete who played football at UK, fight everyday with this brutal disease. Thankfully for everyone involved, he planned properly in his younger years. Below are some pictures of the world famous ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The University of Kentucky has recently named the walkway at Commonwealth Stadium, "Talbott Todd Way."

Perseverence to TriumphJeff Todd

In 2010, Jeff Todd overcame a horrific combination of illnesses to return to the clients and business he loves.

Despite a three-and-a-half month absence, Jeff placed among the top representatives at Northwestern Mutual, earning our highest sales achievement award.

Most importantly, Todd says “I learned a lot about faith, family and second chances.”
